I had the instrument panel with the gauges out to do some repair work, and now the panel doesn't light up when the lights are on.

As far as I know, there are only three connections to the back of my cluster.. one main connection that looks like a big rectangle. One speedo and one cigarette lighter. The latter two work, and I noticed my bright light indicator worked when I turned it on.

Would this be a problem at the light control ****, or maybe I didn't plug the big rectangle connection in all the way? I was careful not to damage the circuitry grid.

 

check the plug in on the light switch if that dont work pull the main dash wire and slide it in again
