70 1/2 RS Split bumper all original 1 owner...

I know a guy that is selling this car. It is all documented and has protecto-plate and build sheet to prove car.


It is 70 1/2 RS Camaro split bumper.
all original #s matching car
Gold color
350 engine w/ 30k miles on rebuild
4 speed tranny w/ 30k miles on rebuild
Power steering
disc brakes
completely new black interior.

paint is old, but just scratched up some.... nothing serious.
only rust on passenger Q.P. behind tire.

Guy is asking $7,500.00. Is this a good price for this car??

If that's really the only rust and the car looks decent, I'd probably pay that price. I really want an early 2nd gen.

I'd grab that car before somebody else does. But it's really a collectors car and not a daily driver. Kept like it is it will continue to appreciate in value. Turn it into a daily driver, put lots of miles on it, change it from original in any way and it will depreciate rapidly.

Go look on eBay...
That is the low end for what 1970's cars sell for.
