67 firebird, disc brake conver?
Re: 67 firebird, disc brake conver?
If you want to do it cheap, find an X body (Nova & clones) up to 74 with disc brakes and grab everything. The front subframe of a 1st gen is the same as the subframe of an X bod to 74. If your prospective donor has the steering box next to the engine, that will do. Try to avoid the earliest Novas with the 4 piston calipers. Those things have a well deserved reputation for being leakers.
There are guys that prefer manual drums vs power disc for weight and drag reasons on the strip.
