4th gen rear end in a 1st gen?

Question 4th gen rear end in a 1st gen?

i have a 67 camaro and want to know if i can mod a 4th gen rear end to fit into my 1st gen?

any info that will help would be great!

isnt worth it youd have to buy one convert to leaf spring mounts or conver the car to 3 link like the rear end and the 7.5 10 bolt is weak but what you can do is bolt the 4th gen brakes on a old school 10 or 12 bolt rear end click here and go to brakes

4th gen rear is way too weak like kacy said, why are you wanting to change rears?

Tough job. About six inches wider, disc brakes with metric fittings. Completely different emergency brake setup, coil springs, axle tubes are smaller so swapping spring perches would be a chore.
