Lightbulb 327 , can it use guideplates? ---

Hey Guys....I am using guideplates with 7/16 studs in my lt1 and feel solid with it. I am about to upgrade my 327 in my 67' camaro....can I use 7/16 studs and guideplates with modification in this setup too with the STOCK heads, or do I have to upgrade to a set of aftermarket aluminum ones? Thanks ---

you can do it on the stock heads, they will need to be converted to screw in studs, and the pushrod guide holes will need to be opened up for clearance
