1967 Camaro RS stats

What are the stats on a stock 1967 Camaro Rally sport with a 327.. not sure the rear gears or anything.. it's a 4-speed convertible. 1/4 mile times, and anything else

Oh, and what's the stock redline on the car? (no stock tach)

Re: 1967 Camaro RS stats

"The March 1967 edition of "Road & Track" magazine featured a road test of a Camaro RS (Rally Sport) Sport Coupe with the 327-cid 275-hp V8 engine, 4-speed manual transmission and 3.07:1 ratio rear axle. It did 0 to 30 mph in 3.7 sec., 0 to 60 mph in 9.1 sec. and the quarter mile in 16.9 sec. at 87 mph.

Is yours a 275hp (4bbl) 327 or the 210hp 2bbl?

Older road tests can be a little off---I doubt the timing equipment is as accurate as todays. And the engine might not have been broken in......so it could be a little faster.... But the 327s a sweet engine. They just never put any high performance ones in the Camaro.

There were lots of axle ratios--so its hard to say what is in your car.
