Wtb: Z28/ss 99-02
I'm looking to buy a reasonably priced 99-02 Z28 or SS with 3.73 or 4.10 gears and t-tops with less than 80k on the motor. I do not want to deal with a dealership so I thought I'd post on here.
No rebuilt title - rebuilt motor OK. No green or red exterior. No hardtop.
I'm in southern Indiana, but for the right car I don't mind to travel.
If you've got something you've been thinking about selling, you can e-mail me at Wantacamaro@hotmail.com with the details/price/photos.

What price range do you consider reasonable? I have a 2001 Z-28 camaro Pearl Mystic Teal with 78000 original miles. A4, 3.42 aftermarket gears, and professionally tuned PCM. Car is garaged winters. North Dakota

It really depends on the car, mileage, and modifications. A reasonable price (for me) could go up to $13,000 on the high end. If you have some photos shoot them to the email address or a link through a private message and I'll take a look.
I bought a salvaged 99 Z-28 auto with 3.73s for cheap right out of college and it's been great for the last 6 years. I've put a bunch of miles on it traveling and it's to the point where the engine is about to go. I'm no mechanic and definitely don't have extra time.
I'm torn between having a race shop rebuild stronger, dropping an LS3, or just getting a new used one. My mind keeps telling me I can't logically drop that much into a salvaged car in case I ever wanted or needed to sell.
