Very Clean 1986 Z28

*86 Z28, South Bend, Indiana - new paint, new interior, runs perfect, 68k miles, no rust, etc.

I am selling my 1986 Camaro Z28 with 68k miles which has been completely refurbished. There is not a single spot of rust on the car, over the course of 3months we went through and found every single spot imaginable as you can see from the pics. From there we shaved the door handles and antenna, so it has a 2 button remote, one for each door and both to flash lights. Also has brand new ZR1 hyper black wheels from Hawks, no adaptors, perfect fit.

The interior has been completely scrapped out of it. Absolutely no rust in the interior either. The floor boards have been covered with thicks coats of enamel and some sound deadening along with other places. We recovered the seats in black charcoal as well as new door and sail panels (new). The carpet inside is also new from classic industries. The dash is in good condition except for one corner which is on the verge of cracking. Nice Pioneer headunit what I guess you would call video display along with new Alpine Type-S in the front and Type-R in the back.

The car was painted under a year ago to a metallic red tint 3ct a.k.a magnetic red from anniversary vettes. It has a tendency to change colors depending on the light because 2 of the coats were very opaque. The ground effects on the other hand were painted a metallic charcoal.

The engine has been basically left stock. It has a LG4 305 with the quadrajet. I rebuilt the carb, changed the air conditioning over, changed the fluids, painted the valve covers and air clean, and just kept it simple with the basics. Its got new shocks as well and we just rebuilt the clutch bearings. Theres a hundreds of things done that I have not listed but I also have a few 100 pictures documenting everything.

I noticed you were in South Bend, my car would make the drive easily. Especially if we met half way! Also, I have in-laws who live in stevensville Michigan...been to South Bend couple of times. If you do not want the stereo, I would entertain a heads up trade. Of course, I would need some more pix, and do you think yours would make the trip back?? It is nice looking car, how is it mechanically? Ever on salt?
