Here's the pic he's referring to for those interested:

Though he mentions that it "Now has a 350 Olds" in this ad.

Why does it have a 79 front end and no shaker hood? What did you use the car for previously? Was it a parts car for another project that you are selling off now?

Re: For Sale 1974 Trans Am (original 455)

The car was sold to me as a SD455 car .. after putting in 300 in quick fix parts to it i find out , It isnt .. its an original 455 car yes , but not a Super Duty , The car i have been seeking , But Now .. I got the car running (really well)
Brand new front Windshield
Brand new AC Delco 7 yr Battery
New Fuel lines
All new , Tune up parts

Doing a little research on this car .. i found out in the 80's it was a Autocross Car .. Late 80's Drag car ... (before selling it they made sure the 455 stayed with them ) Prior owner before me Put in an Olds 350 (is a Rocket) but lacked the mechanical apptitude to , rebuild a carb ,correctly set timing ... i got the car and got it running (daily driving ready) .. it does need tires .. Maybe because this car touches 80 on the on ramp effortlessly. Its not a bad car .. just not the car i want to spend 3 yrs of my life restoring
