Pontiac Firebird FS
Pontiac Firebird FS
Ok after, what I think is 3 years I am getting rid of my Pontiac Firebird. It was bought completely stock from a buddy of mine who runs a used car lot. The car was in perfect condition except for the front bumper needed repainting. I never got around to repainting it so however buys it next may want to do so. Also as the car being red it is prone to clear coat failure due to the sun. Now when i bought the car I could tell the roof looked a bit dull in some areas, but it wasnt bad. Now there are about 4 spots that are cloudy white. I detail cars on the side and have tried all I can to cover it, but it comes back. You may want to repaint that as well. Other than that I cant think of anything significant that is wrong with the car. Now on to the specifics:
1996 Pontiac Firebird Coupe
V6 3.8
Odometer reads just above 132,000
INTERIOR:
Charcoal Leather Interior: great condition, one little ripped that I may be able to repair before the sale. I condition and clean the seats regularly.
Can include Pioneer MP3 player, bought close to a year ago but will subtract 100 dollars if you do not want it and can replace with stock tape player.
The headliner fabric was replaced because it was drooping down. I never put back the sunvisors and there is a slit for each one to put back in. I like the looked of them not being there because I never used them and felt they were just in the way. I still have the sunvisors though.
BODY:
Bright Red color
NO T-Tops
Chrome 18 inch Z06 replica wheels wrapped in (2) Kuhmo Ecsta 265/35/18 and (2) Falken 285/30/18 tires. The tires have about 15,000 miles on them and wheels are flawless. The wheels were polished and always protected.
Front bumper needs repainting.
Roof needs repainting.
Upgraded the rear bumper to the trans am style bumper. Still have the original bumper.
Painted lower part of bumper dark grey/black as the CETA is.
Upgraded to stock ground effects.
Dual/Dual Hooker Stainless Steel exhaust tips.
Flowmaster exhaust.
The two side windows are tinted at 20% and I can take it off for you if you wish not to have it.
The rest of the paint is in absolute perfect condition. I guarantee you will be pleased with the paint being a 96. I detail it regularly and the car has very very very few swirl marks if any and I will even detail if you would like before you receive it.
AVS Blackout Tail light covers.
Black PONTIAC rear fill in letters.
ENGINE:
I have replaced several smaller parts just as a basic tuneup. The oil was always changed every 3000-4000 miles.
The engine/transmission has never given me any types of problems. I find nothing mechincally wrong with anything. Never ever been raced. I truly baby my car and many many people know that.
I have included several pictures of the car. If anyone is truly interested I can get pictures of the bumper and roof for you.
Asking price is $3500 with wheels/tires and everything.
PLEASE email me at pupdaddy@charter.net with any and all questions.
Car is located in Eastern, NC.

Re: Pontiac Firebird FS
This car needs to be sold guys. Ive had a lot of responses, but no one go through yet. I wanted to mention that 2 years ago the front brakes were replaced and I had a transmission flush. About 6 months ago I replaced EGR valve, fuel filter, serpatine belt. The front calipers are also painted the same color as the car and the rear hubs were painted black because they were rust color.
If someone will purchase this by tommorow ill sell it for $3300. I have got to get rid of it as im getting my new car Wed or Thurs.
Also the miles on the car are only 131,400 not over 132,000.
EDIT: I forgot to mention when I first bought the car (approx 3 years ago) I replaced the passenger side headlight motor with a brand new one. I also upgraded the center console to the 98+ with the 4 cupholders.
EDIT EDIT: Also I replaced the driveshaft about 6 months ago. The old one was a 2 piece shaft and the brackets had broke. I bought a one piece and had it replaced. The guy that I had replace it welded the old bracket together so there is an extra driveshaft to go with the car as well as mint grey rear cloth seats, a stock red rear bumper.
EDIT EDIT EDIT: I found the receipt from my last oil change as well the receipt for the new front pads and transmission flush. It was dated in 2002.
I can not find the headlight receipt.
Also if anyone has any questions feel free to call me at 910.984.6229. Please leave a message if I do not answer as Nextel's are notorious for sucky service area my area.
