One more time, new price or I keep it...
The car is on Web Shots

I am offering my car for sale, but I do not want to. Job may require me to move out of state and change transportation to something more emission compliant. I have a 500 hp street Camaro with ac, so the race/street car must go (the Camaro is my wifes car).
The car is a fourth generation Trans Am with the original leather interior. Just got the new engine in. The engine is a fully forged 355 LT1 with all the unmentionable stuff needed to handle 700+ HP (as per Bryan at Combination Motor sports). BJ head service (for real) worked for weeks on the heads in order to hog out the chambers, put in large valves, and get the intake side to flow as close to 300cfm as possible @ .600 lift. The exhaust flows 238cfm @ .600 lift.
For the turbo I chose a .96a/r hot-section with a t-88 pump. I used a t-72 Garret “outlaw turbo” and it was machined to a t-88 (some mustang classes must see t-72 or smaller printed on the pump side of the turbo, that is why it is a “outlaw turbo”) The cold side is a true 4” intake. The hot-section was ported to take advantage of as much kinetic energy as possible in as efficient way as possible.
The exhaust is all mandrel 1 3/4 primary runners, 2 1/2 crossover, 3 3/4” down pipe and 3 3/4 all the way out the back. I am using a large front mount 3-core intercooler with 3” in and out and a 4” diffuser at the 58mm TB to slow down intake velocity and increase internal pressure. A custom turbo cam keeps exhaust velocities high and the engine at 18 inches of vacuum at cruise.
I am using DFI 7 with wide-band control in place of the factory ECM and Jason at Aeromotive set me up with a 1300HP fuel system (I built the sump in the tank).
I use a Mosier 33spline 12-bolt with 4:10’s and a J & W full competition turbo 400 with reverse valve-body and 9” 3900RPM converter. I built most all chassis parts including cross members, torque arm, track locator, etc…
As for the HP numbers, I have never broke the 800HP mark (ran out of injector) and that was for sure not on 10PSI of boost. I broke the “Viper 6-speed Trans” (before I went with the t400) and that set me back several months so we have not been able to dyno the car under High Boost yet. I have since been tuning the car for 10PSI and 93 octane and am now finished. The car is now tuned for 15PSI+. I must admit though, the car is “stupid fast” at only 11PSI.
Short parts list:
12-bolt 4:10’s
