Mid 12 second 2003 DSG Lightning
The time has come for me to get serious about my race car so I decided the Lightning should go. I am far to tempted to start modding it and knowing myself, I need to focus on one thing.
Anyways, it is a 2003 DSG that I bought on December 13, 2003. Mileage is currently a tad over 38K. The truck has been well maintained and cared for with Mobil1 5w-20 synthetic every 3K miles.
I also bought an extended warranty at purchase (72K miles), Scotch Gurad protection(something like that), undercoating package at the time of purchase.
The hood has two little dings in it and that is all I know damage wise the body has.
Performance wise, well, it is pretty strong. Best pass was 12.61@112.80 mph on stock F1's on 93 octane pump gas at a rather poor hooking track.
Modification wise, nothing crazy, but here is the list.
Ported Blower - Stiegemeier
Metco 4lb. lower & belt (you also get the stock pulley & belt)
MAC CAI (you also get the stock induction)
Custom tuned flip chip by SCT
Greg Evans FTVB (you also get the stock vb & pan)
2 spal 6.5" fans on the intercooler with a switch
170 degree thermostat (you also get the stock one)
Phelonic spacer installed
2" drop shackles in the back (you also get the stock ones)
Extang tonneau cover (great piece, fits great)
Rubber mat in the bed
Aluminum lower grill insert
Also comes with it 2 16" steel rims I bought for slicks but never used that are off an F-150.
I am asking $22K for the truck.
