Cool LT1 POWERED '86 Z28 - 50K on drivetrain- Very Nice!

A SWEET BLACK & GOLD 1986 Z28 WITH THE ENGINE, TRANSMISSION(4L60E), AND COMPUTER OFF OF A 1997 FIREBIRD FORMULA. A REAL SLEEPER.
4 Wheel disk brakes w/ POSI! VERY RELIABLE. The paint is almost perfect and so is the black interior. NO RUST OR BONDO ANYWHERE! Cyberdyne Digital Speedo, 3.23 Auburn Posi rear end, I've only used Lucas fluid and Mobil 1 Synthetic motor oil in it.

310+ Horsepower. 13.9 sec. in the quarter mile. This car is faster than stock IROC 350 L98 TPI Camaros! This car is also lighter than the 4th Gen F-Bodies.
U Must see it to appreciate it! (Just look at the pictures...)
Only 50K (documented) miles on '97 motor & trans. It has a FLOWMASTER exhaust, K&N filter, BRAND NEW BF Goodrich TAs all around, new battery, etc. I even have the CAR-FAX report for the donor vehicle & TONS of receipts. There are MANY pictures on the pic site. The car is located in Plainfield, IL. (Just outside of Joliet, IL)

Passes EMMISIONS without a problem. (Has cats.)
RUNS LIKE A BAT OUTTA H*LL!

Re: LT1 POWERED '86 Z28 - 50K on drivetrain- Very Nice!

Help me out here guys, I thought that someone on this board would have contacted me about this car by now. The drivetrain only has 50K on it, and the body is almost perfect. (Look at the pics)
What would do you guys feel is an honest price to ask?

I figured that since I spent $3,000 on the drivetrain and the body has no rust or Bondo, it would sell quickly. (Plus, I recently spent $500 on new tires and an alignment.)

It just baffles me that I have all the documentation and MANY, MANY pics on the picture page and no one is interested.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks for the replies guys. They are appreciated.
RedRally, I almost converted over to a six speed when I made the LT1 conversion, but that would have taken another year to do properly. (I don't have much 'spare time')
The auto trans made for an easier conversion.

Good luck to you with your TOYS!

Thanks for the offer camaroz2866, but I really want the new Suzuki Boulevard M50. I'm hoping to get a blue one.

If any one out there has one, (an '05 or '06) we can deal!

Re: LT1 POWERED '86 Z28 - 50K on drivetrain- Very Nice!

Hello again, I just bought a new M50 so I can no longer consider trades.

Six Grand takes the Z! (Or any other VERY close offer.)

*****ALERT******

I've lowered the price of the car to $5,700 . The car is worth more, but I could use the money to buy a house.

Thanks for checking out my AD!
