GMHTP Project Blue Thunder For Sale
GMHTP Project Blue Thunder For Sale
Hello all,
The time has come for me to part ways with my Firebird Formula as i no longer have time to play with it. Here's the stats:
1989 Firebird Formula
-350ci 4-bolt main shortblock from Scoggin Dickey Performance Parts
-World Products Torquer 305 cylinder heads 1.94/1.60 valves, .600-inch lift valvesprings
-Comp Cams 1.52:1 roller rockers
-Custom camshaft from More Performance 214/224 duration @ .050, .531/.568-inch lift, 112 LSA
-SLP polished TPI intake runners
-Polished TPI ported intake plenum
-TPIS air foil
-Adjustable fuel pressure regulator
-Granatelli adjustable mass air meter
-Accel ignition coil
-Ed Wright custom PROM
-Dynomax 1 5/8-inch headers
-SLP 3-inch catback exhaust
-Hotchkis Performance polished strut tower brace
-Tokico coil springs
-Tokico shocks and struts
-Spohn wonder bar and subframe connectors
-BMR adjustable panhard bar and rear control arm relocators
-SLP Firehawk 17X9 wheels with BFG KDW 275/40/17 tires
-Pro 5.0 shifter
-Stock T-5 transmission
-Stock 9-bolt rear, 3.45 gear
-Stainless Steel front brake upgrade
-Rebuilt rear brakes with Stainless Steel rotors
-Stainless steel braided brake lines all around
-Mallory Billet Aluminum pedals and shift ****
Extras that go with the car:
-Stock exhaust manifolds
-Set of four 16X8-inch stock Hi-Tech Turbo wheels with old rubber up front and Blizzak tires in the back-these things work like a charm too.
-Stock TPI runners
-Stock air box assembly
-Extra hatchback roll cover
-Holley 24lb/hr injectors
I think that's everything. The car runs and drive well, but it is in need of a front end alignment. The engine may be slightly hurt as i've noticed some blue smoke from the tailpipe recently. This despite having only about 300 miles on the engine. There's great potential here, especially for someone who is looking for a good autocross or open track car. It handles extremely well, pulled .94g on the skidpad and is very neutral in handling.
Asking $2,900 or best offer
Thanks,
Steve
