FS: 1996 Camaro Z28, 6 Speed, Hardtop, 116K miles, Needs work $3000 NEGOCIABLE!!

I was going to tear it down and pull the motor and do a 383 stroker as my winter project. I deceided to ditch it. I am actually moving down to Florida and I dont want this car sitting at my parents house for them to complain to me.

The car just passed inspection 2 months ago

Heres the details:
1996
Camaro Z28
6 Speed
Hardtop
Teal
Cloth
116K
Power Everything (pass window dosent move, motor shot)

Heres what I did, and what I will include.
K&N Cold Air Intake
SLP Loudmouth Exhaust
MAC Mid-Length Headers
MAC off road y-pipe (no cats)
Hurst shifter ball
New water pump at 110K
Tinted taillights, 3rd brake light, and corner lights
6000K HID's
Flat black berger panel
JENSEN 7" Flip out DVD player
Factory BOSE system sounds good
new drivers side window motor

******PLEASE READ********

I started to take the motor apart. I took off the intake, intake manifold, throttle body, valve covers, wiring harness (to the side). I got all the bolts there didnt lose anything. Also took off the passenger side header. 1 of the bolt holes was stripped I stuck a stud in there to make it work. And the header gasket was leaking....head is still straight.

The car only had 116K miles on it when I took it off the road. Well actually my father cancelled my insurance on it. So I got bored and took it apart. Its really not that bad...

The Camaro ran great, no problems at all

Takes about an hour to put everything back together.

Everything i removed will be sent with the car...it can be put back together for nothing...just the labor and 2 gaskets.

Whats wrong?
1. Passenger side window dosent go up or down
2. Passenger side mirror is cracked
3. Passenger side lower rocker panel under door is dented
4. Some of the clear coat is peeling on the hatch

I am selling this car locally also. I would like it gone this week.

I am willing to take $3000 for it. Anyone can take it...put it back together and sell for over $4000 easy.

You can email me...pm me...or even call me...I wont answer but leave me your name and number and a message (offer, etc) and i will return the call

SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY PLEASE

Heres some pics of what it looks like RIGHT NOW.

The price is right i think people would prefer to drive it home though as opposed to worrying about a way to get it home.

why dont you just put it back together? It would be worth more if it was running.

I'll tell ya what bro... add $400 to my last offer and I'll take it iff your hands. Seriously if you dont want to put it back together and you really want to get rid of it then I just made you the best CASH offer I can. Get the title and we will head over to a notary, I'll drag it out of there next weekend.

Its a good offer for what you are selling. Besides what I already told you about it might even need a head pulled to fix the bad hole. It will need a somewhat stock exhaust put back on in order to pass any sate inspection if it was to be resold. The bad hole could be a problem on a stock exhaust manifold. Its been sitting with the motor opened up to the air. Moisture can kill it. How long has it been like that?

Its a good offer... You want a serious buyer, you got one. I can't do any better and if you seriously want to unload it I will take it off your hands. Book value on the car in good condition is $3950. While the car looks decent its far from good condition not running. It needs a bunch of work. I'll haul it, and the box of parts out of there.

PM me if you are intrested. I can paypal a deposit and bring balance in cash when I pick up.

Brian

Brian.

You seem like a nice guy, I appreciate you trying to work with me.

I get a paid vacation this week from work. I am going to try to put it back together, without damaging anything else. If I CANNOT get everything back together without pulling the head. Its yours for $1800 and you can come take it whenever you want. If I can get it running and running well, and fixed properly, which im sure I can save the bad bolt hole.

Thanks Brian, again I appreciate you trying to work with me. Give me a couple more days.
