Arrow F/S: Modded 12 Sec 1994 Z28 Convertible

Note: This car is being sold complete. Yes, I understand it will be more difficult to sell it that way. I am not interested in demodding it and selling the mods even though I'm sure I could get more money.

1994 Camaro Z28 Convertible A4

This car has been dead nuts reliable for me since I bought it in 1998. Since then it's eaten a few starters and a battery but that's it. No more starter problems since I finally got a good rebuild. It has never had a breakdown and has always been driven to and from the track including trips 3+ hours each way.

The car is black with a black top and gray cloth interior. It has 62,000 original miles. The body is clean and dent free. Paint is in good condition but has the usual paint chips on the hood and bumper cover. Interior has brand new light weight carpet (Year One). The car has the following modifications:

Chassis & Suspension
  • 8 point chromoly roll bar
  • Custom made chromoly subframe connectors
  • BMR adjustable torque arm
  • BMR drive shaft loop
  • Lakewood lower control arms
  • Drilled and slotted rotors on front
  • Hawk brake pads on front
Engine
  • K&N cold air induction
  • Ported MAF ends
  • 1LE elbow
  • 52mm Edelbrock/BBK throttle body
  • 30 lb Ford Motorsport fuel injectors
  • MSD Digital 6 ignition + Blaster coil
  • Taylor Spiro Pro wires with over the valve cover looms
  • Moroso cast aluminum polished valve covers
  • Combination Motorsports Stage 2 ported LT1 heads
  • Upgraded valve springs (good to 0.600 lift)
  • Titanium retainers
  • Guide plates
  • Crane Cams hardened push rods
  • Comp Cams Pro Mag 1.6 roller rocker arms
  • Comp Cams XE 230/236 cam
  • New stock style lifters
  • LT4 Extreme duty timing chain
  • 95+ Optispark conversion
  • Free mods
  • Dyno tuned (before MSD digital 6, was having ignition problems at the time so it could use a little more tuning)
  • New ceramic coated Pacesetter long tube headers (less than 500 miles)
  • SLP 2 out the left exhaust system w/ cutout
  • Walbro 255 lph fuel pump
  • New Bosch O2 sensors
  • NGK TR6 spark plugs (was gonna spray the car but never did)
Drivetrain
  • Precision Industries Vigilante 2800 rpm stall torque converter
  • Built 4L60E incl. vacuum modulator, upgraded clutch packs, billet servo, etc (less than 500 miles)
  • B&M Racing high capacity trans cooler (28,000 gvw)
  • 1LE aluminum drive shaft
  • Richmond 3.73 gears (thick cut)
  • Auburn Pro posi (2 series carrier for thick cut gear)
Miscellaneous
  • Air pump removed
  • EGR removed
  • A/C compressor removed
  • Center console was replaced including shifter plate (1,2,3,D)
  • Aftermarket CD radio
  • Rear seats removed due to roll bar but are included w/car
  • Copy of LT1 edit & datalogger included

The wheels in the pictures are not included and are already sold or otherwise accounted for. The stock wheels included have fairly new E/T Streets mounted on two of them with Eagle GA's on the other two.

The heads and cam and associated mods were done less than 1500 miles ago. The Pacesetter long tubes and tranmission build were done less than 500 miles ago. The transmission was built with the intention of spraying the car but I never installed the nitrous. The same trans in a local Firehawk has run 10.5x's without any problems. I only have 15 passes or so since the heads/cam and other work was all done. The best to date with the car is a 12.317 @ 110.57 w/ 1.70 60'. It runs pretty consistent 12.4x's though. With a few tuning tweaks and maybe a higher stall converter, I'm sure the car can run a 12.1 or 12.2 on motor. On a 100 shot it should run a mid to low 11 but that's only a guess.

I am asking $8,900 or best offer. If you have any questions, post them up here, PM me or send an email to z28ragtop94@hotmail.com.

Here's links to a few pictures:

Again, the rims in the pictures do not come with the car. It now has salad shooters on it, 2 w/ E/T Streets and 2 w/ Eagle GA's.

Having both the 1994 Z28 and the 2002 Z28 plus a daily driver is quite a money drain. Neither car has ever broke, but I'm constantly spending money on mods. I decided one of them has to go and chose to keep the LS1 car so I can concentrate on just one car. The '02 is a 6 speed and needs a 12 bolt rear, a new clutch, headers, tune, etc.

The wheels you are referring to are Borbet type M 17 x 9. I sold them on here a few months ago. The date on the pictures is actually 5/11/04 not 11/5/04 like it looks.

Re: F/S: Modded 12 Sec 1994 Z28 Convertible

My guess is you're not looking at trades then, lol. Awsome car though. I had a modded 94 w/ similar bolt-ons i sold last summer for $8800 with 10,000 more miles and it wasn't a vert so your price looks good in my book. Good luck selling bro.

Re: F/S: Modded 12 Sec 1994 Z28 Convertible

No, I'm not really considering trades. I guess I might consider one for a reasonably stock LS1 automatic car. My plan is to sell this Camaro and the daily driver (Ford Escort ZX2) and replace them with a like valued car that is nice but that I am not going to want to mod!

Thanks for the compliment! I think I'm offering a damn good deal, too!
