Anyone interested in assuming the lease on 2007 Trailblazer SS AWD?
Since my 2010 Camaro is almost here, I am thinking of parting ways with my beloved 2007 Trailblazer SS and picking up something a bit more basic for a daily driver. I love this vehicle but I am looking for someone to assume the lease of $398 (& change) per month through July 5 of 2010. So, for a year you can have some fun.
Details:
This is an awesome vehicle to have, does just fine in Michigan snow thanks to the AWD and has awesome power on demand when you want it.

Note that in one of the pics it is featured on the back of a Kocky Products T-Shirt. AWD burnout was photoshopped.
If interested, give me a shout and we can talk. jason@camaroz28.com
Details:
- 2007 Trailblazer SS
- AWD
- A bit over 21k miles, 70% highway
- Power sunroof
- All the usual goodies...power windows, locks, seat...air, cruise, XM, CD changer, etc.
- Perfect shape, looks new, runs new, can pass off as having a fraction of the miles it does
- Stone guard applied at dealership (no stone chips!)
- Windows are tinted slightly, not dark enough to draw negative attention (looks much darker than it really is in above pic)
- Never abused, always well maintained
- GM cargo liner in back

Thanks, I take pride in my vehicles and it shows.
Yes, which can be programmed back to stock if requested. The gauge is an Aeroforce Interceptor gauge and it can be negotiated into the deal.
Jason, doesn't yours have an aftermarket tune and shift map? Also, would you be sending that little performance monitor doohickey along with it?

FWIW, when we had a lease on our car,
we had about a year left on the lease. we either wanted to buy it out right, or trade it on something else.
the payoff when I called was $23k.
when we went to the dealer to trade it in, the payoff was $21k for the dealer.
kind of like a "wholesale" versus "retail" deal, where a buyer could buy the TBSS cheaper than the lease payoff you see on your paperwork.
my wife worked at a dealer, so we had them pay it off for us, saved us a few thousand, and we just bought it out of the lease.
saved us a year of lease payments
luck!

omg why couldn't this have been two months ago when I bought mine?
That's a really fair price too, take it from a fellow '07 owner. It's the coolest truck out there by far.
Good luck with the sale Jason, that is a BEAUTIFUL TBSS.

Sorry gang, I need to get ahold of GMAC for the exact info.
I am pretty sure the mileage is 10k a year. By the 2 year mark of the 3 year lease, it will be approximately 2k over what it should be. What I will do is take the mileage amount over what it should be, multiply by the cost per mile and deduct that from the lease transfer fee.
But sit tight until I can get the exact info, it has been a while since I took a look at it.

Okay, got some info...
It currently has 21,7xx miles on it.
The lease will end on 7-4-10
The payoff at that time is $22,217
The mileage limit is 30,098
Each mile over that is .25.
There is a lease transfer fee of $595.
However, there is a $400 deposit that the new lessee will receive at the end of the lease (I don't get that back).
I will cover approximately $100 of the lease transfer free to make up for the mileage overage
(Approx 2,000 miles x .25 each mile = $500, minus the $400 deposit = $100)
So for a few bucks down and under $400 a month for a year, you can have a kick *** vehicle that kicks *** on the street and does just fine in the winter as well, plus get some cash back at the end. The way GM is right now, you might even be able to negotiate it for much less than the pay off price at the end.
