98' Firebird/Formula, Texas $5500

UPDATE:

Alright, Here is the deal. The car overheated in stop-and-go
traffic this Sunday. after it cooled down, I drove it back to College
station, but I can smell rubber. I believe it's a head gasket, but I
don't wanna mess with it anymore. The car will start and you can drive
it around, but would not recommend any long-distance trip.

New price $4000 as it is.

============================================

1998 FIREBIRD/FORMULA LS1/M6 (have a carfax report, the 2nd owner, clear title)

The car is a beast and has been pretty much rebuilt in and out. This Formula has been a very reliable car (drove it on regular basis from College Station to Austin) but needs some interior work. If you are interested I can send more pictures to your email on what you would like to see.

Mechanical:

• Rebuilt Ls1 with around 20,000 miles on it:
• GM HOT cam kit 219/228
• Rollmaster timing chain
• Ford Racing 30lb. Injectors
• Mahle forged pistons bored it to a 347 cubic inch
• new alternator, starter, power steering pump
• stock crank and rods and the heads are re-decked
• the engine all machined and assembled by Harbour grinding and machining in Corpus Christi
• Rebuilt T-56 6-speed transmission rebuilt the same time as engine:
• steel shift forks
• carbon fiber synchros
• all new gears installed along with a input shaft
• a new centerforce clutch installed
• a new master cylinder and slave cylinder for the clutch
• B&M Ripper Shifter
• The rear end has been rebuilt about 5,000 miles ago and I had Motive 4.10 gears installed and also had all new bearings, seals and gaskets replaced.

Exhaust/Cooling/Suspension:

• Long tube headers
• 3inch flowmaster Y-pipe
• Bullet Muffler
• 160 thermostat
• manual switch for radiator fans
• a BMR strut tower brace powder coated silver

Interior/Exterior:

• VFN 4" Cowl/Ram air Fiberglass hood
• Trans Am rear spoiler
• New paint job looks great
• interior came stock with leather but i put some z28 leather seats in, the driver seat is worn along the side where you get into the car and needs repaired
• The dash cover is cracked as well as the windshield
• Window is slow on the driver side (motor need to be replaced)
• t-tops with shades
• Pioneer cd player, o gauge rosgate wires ran front to back, infinity components in the doors, custom 12inch box for the back but does not come with amp and subs
• Brand new rear Potenza RE730 tires with road hazard and lifetime balancing, front Potenzas have 80% of the thread left

Have Texas inspection until 03/09 and registration 10/08, lots of spare parts that go with it. The car is located in College Station, TX.

Need to sell ASAP because of financial circumstances if interested give me a call on 979-324-8721 email alpetk@gmail.com

PRICE $5500 obo.
