Engine: AP Engineering 355 LT1 11:1 c/r eagle crank, diamond forged pistons, diamond 4130 choremoly wrist pins, diamond proselect rings, eagle H beam rods, federal mogul 152M main bearings, clevite CB663H Connecting rod bearings, ARP Main Studs, Splayed 4-Bolt Billet Main Caps, Blueprinted, fully balanced and assembled. The heads were rebuilt by a local machine shop. They have crane sprnigs with comp cam rocker that are good for 1.6 lift. ARP head bolts. Cometic head gasket. Chromemoly Pushrods. Comp Cam 305. Melling SBC Race Oil pump. Melling Oil pump pick up. All new NGK-R plugs. Over the Top MSD wires Electric water pump. ATI One Piece crank bolt. ATI Dampener(aluminum Hub w/Underdrive). LT4 timing chain.
Clutch:Fidanza flywheel. I forget what that exact make is but its from the same people that make the Exedy Clutches, i think it holds up to 650hp(will found out for sure) b&m short shifter.
Exaust: Mac mid-lengths OR Y-pipe. Magnaflow muffler.
Computer: PCMFORLESS
Everything was installed by FFP(Force Fed Performance) a lacal speed shop here in nor cal.
Before the new motor and cam this car dynoed at 313RWHP 340RWHP.

did you ever race this car?

 

i would be lying if i said no. i have raced but not very much because i work alot and its only a weekend car. i took it to the track a couple weeks ago and it ran 13 flat in 110 degree heat so i figure if it is cooler is would probably run 12.9 12.8. plus the motor is set up for nitirous ( it could easily handle a 200shot) so with that said it could easily be a 11 sec car.

 

Is it california smogg legal?

 

concern is the rear being strong enough for the motor? is anything done to build it?

 

No its techinally not leagal. The cam will pass but since i have mid lenghts with no cats it will not, i still have the old manifolds if needed to be switched back.
The rearend is pretty much new. i replaced everything in it about 7000 miles ago. ive seen plenty of camaros run low 11's with stock rearend.

 

could you give me the low down on what you put in the rear?

 

nothing real special just a new zexel torsen,new gears, and a new axle because it was worn alittle plus all the little stuff like shims etc.
