93 SLP Firehawk Formula FS *rare*
93 SLP Firehawk Formula FS *rare*
*price reduced* $6000
1993 Pontiac Firehawk Formula #143 of 201 is for sale. I have 3 cars which includes 2 toy cars so one of them has to go. I've owned this car I believe for 4 years now and I've put ~10,000 miles on it since I have had it. It currently has about 92K miles on it. Located in Colts neck, NJ. The car is very well maintained and drives flawlessly. I have some decent mods on it but its actually quite tame and could certainly be used as a daily driver if you wanted to. I would like to get $7500 for this car which is basically me giving it away, but such is life and dealing with cars. I am pretty sure I still have all the stock parts and that will go with the car as well. The interior is pretty flawless and extremely clean. The paint is mostly very good except a few areas which I've detailed below. I'll add pictures when I go home tomorrow but I have added a video to the post so you can hear it rumble for now
.
Here are the mods/details as I remember... modded at around 84,000 miles:
224/230 cam with 1.6 rockers, hardened pushrods, etc.
LE1 ported heads/intake
52 mm throttle body
34 lb injectors
PCM4less tune through datalogging
AS&M mid length jethot coated headers/high flow cats through cutout. I still retained the stock firehawk exhaust tips which I think are cool.
3.73 gears
2800 midwest converter with 2.5 str
Nitto drag radials
I think thats it as far as mods go as its been quite some time since I modded it. With only the headers/cam/cutout and through the converter it made 310 rwhp SAE. I haven't dynoed it since I put on the high flow cats, 52 mm tb, ported heads/intake. It def rips pretty good now and is much faster than it was 310 rwhp especially after getting it fine tuned from PCM4less. I've never taken it to the track and in fact I never take it higher then 95-100 mph so I don't know about times and all that.
Here are the issues with the car:
I usually have a cover on this car and this winter we had a huge wind storm which caused the cover to tear and get tangled around the car. This resulted in some rub marks in the paint on the drivers side door and passenger side door which I have taken pictures of. Not sure what it would take to fix but it does suck. The nose of the car bumped into something so there is some cracking in the paint around that area but it's really not bad at all. The check engine light is on because in the fuse box when I was trying to change a fuse once, the little metal connector in the fuse box broke off. I can't remember which fuse it was but I will get the code tomorrow and it doesn't effect the driveability and power of the car. The A/C blows warm and probably needs to be recharged but since I usually only drive the car at night I never even would use it anyway. I think thats it. Its a little moist in the rear but doesn't drip and there are no oil/trans leaks or anything like that.

yea i know. well i am hoping with this being a fairly rare car and its also basically completely built up as well as in very good shape, someone will bite on it. i'd personally love to keep it, nothing sounds as good as a cammed lt1 and plus the car is quite fast and runs perfect. if it doesn't sell in a few months i'll probably just keep it.
