thanks for the replys. i would have thought i would have sold it by now, too. i also have it posted on ls1tech. i've been a member of the 9sec. club for a couple years on that site. and won the ls1tech/gmhitech mag. north vs. south shootout, in the "streetfighter" class with this car. with a write up and pic. in the march 06 issue. like most cars that are raced often, its not a super nice car. but, its far from junk. i'd hate to add up how much $$ i've put into it over the years. the entire drivetrain is new (less than 50 miles). i believe it will run 9.6s with the new tuneup.

hadnt really thought about selling the engine, although i would. $4k complete engine. 383 forged speedpro pistons, moly rings, forged h beam scat rods, scat 3.75 stroke crank, comp 292 xfi h/r cam, new lifters, hardened pushrods, 1.6 roller rockers, comp #983-16 beehive springs, new comp locks and retainers, heads flow 262/190 @ .600 lift. rotating assem. is balanced, intake is also ported, 58mm t/b, 36 lb. inj., adj. fuel psi. reg., opti has about 3k miles with an msd cap and rottor on it, w/p is new, new oil pump, timing chain. i havent had it dyno'd before. it ran 7.0s@97 /11.0s@124 all motor, with a smaller cam and stock 3.42 gears when i had a th/350 trans. in the car. as far streetable, it runs fine on 93 octane pumpgas. i do run 100 octane unleaded racegas when i spray it. the mezeire w/p is also new (about 5 miles and 5 passes). the car has always ran cool in traffic and on the hwy. i've ran the car in several "truestreet" events over the years, without it ever breaking down. and local cruise ins, too. it was runnerup in the 10.0 class at the NMCA truestreet event in atlanta in 07. theirs a writeup in the jan. 08 issue of fastest streetcar mag. covering the event.
