88 Shelby CSX-T

Just checking interest, Going through a divorce so Im selling off alot of my toys, if you know anything about these cars, very very fun to play with, can be very fast for a little turbo 4 cylinder, and get great gas milage, you can get close to 30mpg every day.

Its an actual numbered Shelby car, only 750 produced.

Rust Free CSX-T
Very very hard to find completely rust free cars of this nature. I drove to Kentucky to get this one and it was dissasembled and had to be towed back.

I put a Fox rebuild short block in it, common block, ported head, ported exhaust manifold, plumed with an EGT probe in the manifold, Stage 5 electronics, +40 injectors , 3bar map, t2/t3 clutch, a520 tranny, full 3in exhaust turbo back mandrel bent, fmic with all piping for intercooler and exhaust done by tracy at Speedfab in Jacksonville. The quality of the work is outstanding. The car is lowered with eibach springs and Kyb struts, it has big breaks front and rear from spirit RT, it has an IROC RT Kmember and sway bars.

I have over 3500 in this vehicle already. I put it together, and maybe put 2K miles on it, maybe. It was extremely fast for one of these cars, I would say mid 13's at 105-110 easy based on the cars it beat and how it felt compared to my black 87 that trapped 108 breaking up badly.

4th gear on the interstate 80mph, if it was even cold outside it was blowin the front tires up.

Anyhow, apparently the fox rebuilds cant quite handle that kind of abuse, and the car lost compression on two cylinders. I parked it and have driven it maybe 2 times since.

the car is rust free, but it needs a bunch of TLC.

Like I said, ive got more than double what Im asking for it invested in the car, but its hard to sell a broken car, but Im gonna throw this out there anyhow. Id like to get 2000 bucks out of it but feel free to make an offer, it has to go.

PM or call me if interested. I dont get around a computer much right now, so it'd be best if you call.
