2000 Dodge Dakota SLT, NC
Just like the title says, it's a 2000 Dodge Dakota SLT that I've owned for about a year and a half now. I bought the truck from the original owner, and have full maintenance records dating back to when he originally purchased this truck. This this includes oil changes, warranty work, saftey recalls, tranny fluid changes, differential fluid changes, etc. Still have the original window sticker and everything that came with it new, except I lost one of the two original key fobs. Still have both original sets of keys, one's just missing the fob.
* 4.7L SOHC V8 - Rated 235 hp/295 tq, which was more than enough power for everything I ever needed to haul/tow. Also has a coil-on-plug design that makes tune ups a breeze.
* Automatic Trans
* 4 Wheel Drive
* SLT Plus package - Includes 6-way power drivers seat, power mirrors, power locks, power windows, cruise, keyless entry, leather steering wheel, chrome front and rear bumpers, and the wider wheels that currently have 32x11.5 tires mounted on them. Also has CD/Cassette player with equalizer and steering wheel radio controls, Infinity speakers, Overhead Convenience package that has a DIC, storage compartments, and auto-dimming rear view mirror.
* Heavy Duty Service Group - Includes 750 amp battery, transmission oil cooler, heavy duty suspension and engine cooling, bigger alternator and a limited slip differential.
* Trailer Tow package with a Reese hitch and hookups/adapters for whatever trailer you wanna tow.
Mechanically this is an excellent running truck that's been well maintained from the start, with records to back it up. Currently has ~106k miles. Only things wrong worth mentioning from a mechanical standpoint is that on a cold start up it has a little lifter tick. Can't even hear it from inside the cab and it goes away within a minute anyway. Seems to be a pretty common problem on the 4.7 and has never really bothered me. Also the rear brakes are probably in need of replacing/adjusting. I've got new shoes for them, just haven't got around to them since I hate messing with drum brakes.
Interior is in pretty good shape, no tears or rips in the seats. All the buttons and controls work well. Worst things about it are the floor mats and carpet are stained with red clay/mud in spots from getting in it with muddy boots. Passenger side door speaker has been blown since I bought the truck. Really rattles with any bass-heavy songs but most rock and country songs still sound good.
Exterior is probably the trucks worst attribute, and it's still in pretty good shape for a 8 year old truck. The paint on the roof of the cab is starting to get a couple oxidized spots from sitting in the sun. Not too noticeable right now but it'll probably get worse in a few years. It's got a long dent on the bottom of the drivers side door from an accident back in the winter. The paint didn't hardly scratch or chip so I never bothered getting it fixed. There's a small ding in the front chrome bumper that's been there since I bought it. Guy said his wife pulled too far up in front of a gas station and tapped one of those steel poles. Other than that there's an assortment of dings, scratches and chips all over the truck. It's a truck and has been used as such since I've owned it. Hauling camping gear into the woods, had 4 wheelers loaded in and out numerous times, brush from yard work, etc. So the body has taken its share of work duty and is showing it's age in spots. Still cleans up decent though, and all the chrome is still bright and not pitted.

Looking to get $6500 or best offer. Wanting to get back into another F-body so trades will be considered as well.

On the highway it gets low 20's as long as it's flat, and around town averages low 14's.
Not really looking for another LT1, though. Had one for years and I'm really more interested in M6 LS1's.
