Offering one of my collection up for sale. This is a nice running LS1 with the 6 speed manual. Within the past two years I have replaced the brakes pads and rotors on all 4, new exhaust and up graded the differential with an Eaton posi and a new ring and pinion with a 3.23 Richmond gears.
It has 118,118 miles on the original drive train. This is presently in Rhode Island and inspection that runs out in July 2017. There is a Hypertech system installed and I've had no issues with the performance. Car handles well, engine runs great, transmission shifts tight and overall fun to drive. Please clarify:

- why does this 1997 have an LS1 engine? Should be an LT1.

- why does a 6-speed have a 3.23 rear? All M6's (94-02) should be 3.42.

- by "Pace Car" are you representing that this is A) one of the 3 actual Brickyard 400 pace cars, or B) one of the Festival replicas, sold by GM as used cars, and all built within 1997 first 100 VIN's?
