1996 Z28, Factory 6-Speed

Make me an offer...My name is Mike and you can reach me at 847-454-4690

3rd owner of straight as an arrow 1996 Z28 with a factory 6-speed that shifts super-smooth. Previous owner for 12-years was my great friend and neighbor who babied the car. Factory 6-speed with a new replacement prior to the last owner's storage of the car. I purchased the car last year. Everyone in the Nasty Z28 community knows me pretty well as I have a small stable of nice 2nd generation Z28's in addition to this one. Also, comes with the factory wheels and great-shape rubber. Wheels and tires, as shown in the pictures, were a deal from SLP for overstock on SLP Firebirds/Firehawks.

Also, the factory radio was reinstalled and sounds, well, like a factory Delco radio!

Pretty cool-looking and again, original wheels and tires come with the deal!!! Awesome shape car. If you need more pictures or information please let me know!

New Parts

  • New Power Window Motor (Installed, Driver's Side)
  • New Fuel Pump/Sending Unit (Installed)
  • New Fuel Filter (AC-Delco, Installed)
  • New Optispark (not installet yet, doesn't need it but they say around 100K you should replace it)
  • New Water Pump (AC-Delco, not installet yet, doesn't need it)
  • New Spark Plugs (NGK, not installet yet, doesn't need it)
  • New Spark Plug Wires (not installet yet, doesn't need it)
  • New Battery
  • TBI by Granatelli (messed up spelling, from the previous owner)

Funny side-note...

My wife has not driven "stick" for 20+ years and has never, ever, driven one of my cars, only my Audi Q7. On Saturday, she turned the key, a drove all around town completely smoothly. Yes, I was impressed someone else didn't destroy my transmission but it demonstrated the turn-key ability of the car. I did take the keys from her to show her how to "properly" drive a stick and she said, "slow down, slow down!", which made me feel better.
