1995 Camaro
1995 Camaro - Green
3.4L V6
110,000 miles
Automatic transmission
T-Tops
Power windows, power doors, power driver seat
Remote entry
AC
Cruise
According to Car-X, it needs new front and rear breaks, along with a new front strut on the passenger side. That's the reason it is for sale. If you know how to install the new parts, I'm sure it wouldn't cost close to what Car-X was gonna charge me. There is also an issue that I'm trying to work out right now with the battery not holding a charge or something. I can jump the vehicle, turn it off, and then turn it back on and drive it. Then 30 minutes later I can go back to it and it won't start. I'm letting it run right now to see if that'll charge the battery up or something. Battery is about 1.5 years old and I had no problems with this before taking it to Car-X.
Other than that, I think it was running fine. I was not planning to get a new vehicle until this stuff came up. There are some dents and stuff, as you would expect on a 1995. I can get more pictures of stuff if you'd like.
Edmunds lists this car's True Market Value for private sale as $1,790 in "Rough" condition which is described as:
Vehicle has several mechanical and/or cosmetic problems. Exterior and interior need significant repairs. Tires may need to be replaced. Vehicle may need minor repairs to pass an emissions inspection, but it has a clean title.
I'm not really sure if it is that bad or not, but I wanted to error on the crappier condition side so I just picked the lowest condition in order to get their price.
If you can come pick it up, I'll give it to you for $750. I don't really want to mess with it and I'd just like to get enough to make a few payments on the new vehicle. I'm located in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Re: 1995 Camaro
Here are some pictures: http://12.208.122.213:802/camaro/camaro.html
If all the pictures aren't loading for some reason, you can get to them from here: http://12.208.122.213:802/camaro/originals/
The area with the different color square of paint is where I decided to fix the whole where the lock in my passenger door used to be after it was broken into (picture #13). The key lock on the driver door is still in the door, but I did disable it so that you have to use the remote entry. The trunk key lock does still work so if the battery to the remote died or something, you could still crawl in that way.
The area where the clear coat is pealing or something on the rear bumper has been like that since before I got the car, so I don’t know what the original cause was (#18, #19).
I showed a small crack in the front bumper that I just found (#15). There is also a scratch mark (#14) from someone backing into the front bumper, and then a poor attempt to touch it up with touch up paint.
There is a small dent behind the driver door where someone backed into the side of the car (#17). I don’t know if that can be fixed or not. It isn’t really that noticeable if you aren’t looking for it. There may be a slight mark across the driver door at the same height from the rest of the bumper of that car, but I think you’d have to have decent light and be looking for it to see it. I don’t think you can see it in the picture of that side of the car.
As far as the battery/alternator situation goes, it started up this morning no problem. I’m letting it run again right now to hopefully keep charging the battery.
As far as the interior goes, I took the rearview mirror out and put it in my new truck. You could take the mirror from the truck if you’d like. The front speakers are not installed either. I had aftermarket stuff in there and when I pulled that to put the original stuff back in, I didn’t want to take the door panels off in the freezing cold just to put two stock speakers in. I have all the speakers, and the rear speakers are actually installed along with the radio. It wouldn’t be difficult for you to put the old speakers in the front if it was warmer or if you were going to replace them anyway, then that’s one less thing to take out. Only other issues are hinges or latches damaged on the center console and glove box, but those are minor problems and you wouldn’t know that there was anything wrong with them until you use them. And even then it is not really much of a problem.
