1994 firebird rolling chassis
1994 firebird rolling chassis
I cant make up my mind on what I want to do with it so I've decided to get rid of it.
here are the current specs (not likely to change)
1994 firebird formula w/ trans am nose (I have fog lights for the nose if you want)
135,000 miles on chassis
engine is in it, but has a spun main bearing
4L60E
2.73 rear w/ brand new zexel torsen diff
power: windows, locks, steering, drivers seat
was an A/C car. A/C system is off and will be included with the car.
interior is in near perfect condition. I would say 9/10. I have an aftermarket head unit in that I would like to keep, I have the stock head unit that can go with the car for no extra cost. the car also has 10 new JL speakers that all still sound great. I really don't feel like removing them so they go with the car.
also has a hooker catback that will connect to a pacesetter y-pipe
body has minor scratches, does not look like 135,000 miles. paint is maybe 8/10.

ALOT of pictures are there
I want $2000 OBO for the car with the stock 16x8 wheels and blown engine/trans.
there are some options though
the engine, as stated previously, is in it. this is the original engine I installed when I returned the car to stock. I dont know what condition the bottom end is in but based off of what is in the lifter valley it spun a main or rod bearing. all the accessories are in the hatch, as I started tearing it down to remove the engine. this will go with the car.
I have a forged 355 shortblock (information HERE) thats disassembled that I would let go with the car for an additional $1000
I have two transmissions, one is in it which I will let go with the car for free, another is a built 4L60E from a very reputable local shop (werner transmission in bangor, PA) that has less than 3,000 miles. I'll include the built 4L60E for $800. you can even keep the trans thats in the car. I dont want it. only stock stall too.
I also have a set of torque thrust IIs that can go with the car. theyre 17x9.5 front, 17x11 rear with 275/40/17 and 315/35/17 sumitimo HTRZ rubber. the tires are practically new. add another $1000 to the price of the car if you want these.
I also have some miscellaneous stuff that can be included with the car...
pacesetter uncoated LT headers - add $200
pacesetter y-pipe & band clamps - add $80
pacesetter y-pipe w/ dual electric cutouts & band clamps - add $400
total with everything is a little over $5,000. that is a damn steal for a nice LT1 firebird, all the parts to rebuild a the engine to a forged 355, a built transmission, full exhaust, and nice torque thrust II wheels. throw in a set of LE2 heads/cam, stall, gears and you'd have a nice low 12 second car that would look like this for under $8000.

here are the most current pictures...

and how the engine compartment looks:
