Feedback: Stilltime on eBay, LT1tech and LS1tech, but this is my main territory for Camaro-related buy/sell/tech
The Reason:
Last August I purchased a G6 GTP and have only driven the Z maybe 4~5 times since then. It needs a good owner. Asking $5,000 OBO - please send me any and all offers you have, worst I can say is 'no.'
The Car:
My Z28 is in great shape for having ~130,XXX miles on it. Since I have owned it, it has had the oil changed every 3,000 miles with Mobil 1 Full-Synthetic and Wix filters. The coolant system has recently been flushed and filled as well as flushing the heater core - the heat is great! The front and rear brakes were replaced around 115,000 miles. The front brake system was replaced with the LS1 swap off of a 2000 SS. The brake fluid was also completely flushed and bled, it stops on a dime. Along with the sale I will include an LS1 aluminum driveshaft with a new U-joint on it.
It's an A4 hardtop. Cloth seats with the common driver side bolster tear. No dents in the body, normal rock chips and a few small scratches here and there. No paint chipping or fading of the sort - looks really good with a good polish and wax. Dash is not cracked, carpet is still in good shape as well. Clean title in hand ready to sign over.
The suspension is tight and it pulls very strong for the few performance mods done to it. All-together the suspension is an amazing combo and the car feels great.
The pictures were taken *before* the front Strano springs and rear spacers were installed. I will post new pictures once the foot of snow has melted, I apologize for that.

Re: 1993 Z28 A4 in IL - $5,000 OBO
Morton is about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Chicago. They didn't offer traction control on Z28's until 1995 so no, mine doesn't have it. Is there a specific reason you are looking for a Z with TC?
I used this as my daily driver for a year and a half and it has ran amazing. Only since I purchased a new car have I not been driving it very much.
Thanks for looking!

Re: 1993 Z28 A4 in IL - $5,000 OBO
*Entertaining offers - I would like to get it sold by Spring*
No offense to 87tpita I just can't imagine why TC would be a make/break deal on a Z28. It doesn't offer traction as far as on the strip...that is obtained by proper suspension, wheels and tires?
I would personally prefer a Z28 without TC, or if it had it I would leave it off as young maro said. Thanks for the bump!

Re: 1993 Z28 A4 in IL - $5,000 OBO
only reason I asked is it would be a daily driver in Chicago, Ive heard the tcs will help with snowy condition ,,,,,,, either way they suck in the snow but a little less with the tcs
. eitherway bump for a sweet ride

Re: 1993 Z28 A4 in IL - $5,000 OBO
87tpita - Understandable... off the record I have driven a Z without TCS over the past 3 winters, and a '94 V6 the winter before that without any issues. We get a decent amount of snow/ice down here in central IL
Bump!

Bump!
Re: 1993 Z28 A4 in IL - $5,000 OBO
A4 or M6? T-tops? Leather? Any dents, dings or scratches that we can not see? Is the title clean or a salvage?

Re: 1993 Z28 A4 in IL - $5,000 OBO
Is there any visible rust under the hood in the engine compartment or in other locations? You do not have the A/C do you? Does the car have any problems when it is driven hard? Does it ever miss or die on your when driving?

Re: 1993 Z28 A4 in IL - $5,000 OBO
I haven't run across any rust and I have done a lot of work on the car in the past year. There is typical surface rust on the rear axle and underbody parts that aren't coated from the factory, but nothing is rusting where it shouldn't be. A/C has been removed, runs awesome and has ran great the past year for me.
About a year ago this January is when I was diagnosing the ignition problem, it just died one day. That is why everything ignition related has been replaced. It ended up being the last thing I bought, the GM ignition control module. So not only did I replace what was bad, but everything else is brand new as well. Since then I haven't had a single issue with bad idle or missing, even with longtubes and SD.
Keep the questions coming I know there are things I missed in my ad, and would be more than happy to disclose any information you guys request. I would like to sell the car to an honest person that appreciates Camaros as much as I do and would want them to know the car as well as I do when making the transition.
