1988 Firebird GTA

Great site here! Thank You for allowing me as a member!

I really need to get my garage back and start a new project, I have gotten bored with this one as follows;

1988 Firebird Trans Am GTA, 5.0 TPI engine, 700R automatic transmission, 151K miles, WS6 suspension, steering wheel radio controls, completely restored to like new condition, New brakes, rotors, belts, radiator, exhaust, spark plugs, wires A/C compressor, condenser, fiberglass spoiler, paint. A/C converted to R134A. Garage kept since 2004. Interior and exterior in great shape. Must see to appreciate! $4500 OBO

Re: 1988 Firebird GTA

A little bit about myself for you sir, I have worked on cars and trucks since the age of 13 and I am now 58 (But don't tell anyone)
Retired from 30 years in the HVAC/R industry for the last 15 as project manager/building automation/controls designer. I still hold a State of Ohio heating license
I have a CDL/A license and currently drive an 18 wheeler part time.

Now about the car in question,
I have owned the car since Jan of 07, bought it from my daughter in law, ran an oil analysis turned out ok. Completely serviced the engine, oil change, plugs, rotor cap, wires. After 1000 miles ran another oil analysis, turned out ok. Then I restored all the cosmetics of the car. I just recently changed the tranny fluid, filter and gasket due to a minute leak on my newly painted garage floor.

The car is 99% perfect, It's just that I only drive it to the local annual car show and store it. I've only put 2K miles on it since 2007.
