Will components work?

I have a Monsoon system in my car, and my driver's side speaker went out. Can I replace this with a component speaker system? I know it is at a different ohm, but because of how low the RMS it uses, it should still decent. Any ideas if this is true? Thanks!

Aren't the Monsoon speakers individually amplified like the Bose set-up? I'm not sure if you can just go in there and replace the individually amplified speakers with components that will most likely need to be run by a 4 channel amp in the first place...

I could be wrong...

They are individualed amped, but I only have the six speaker set up. The Monsoon speaker itself has four wires going into it. I was thinking component since it would have the same amount. But people said it will be a lower volume. But by how much? Like where I can't even hear it all?

By a LOT. I replaced my Bose door speakers with Alpine 6.5" Type-R's and I can hardly hear them...
