Will a 2004 OEM Hummer Cd changer work in my 2000 Fbody?

I have an oppurtunity to pick up a 12 disk CD changer from a 2004 hummer for very reasonable. I'm not sure it has the 10 pin plug in..... I was wondering if any of you stereo people knew if the stock 12 disk CD changer from a 2004 hummer will plug into my stereo. Thanks again.

nope... no way to make it work, the stereos in newer gm cars rely on a special signal from the computer to work

The factory HU may have warning buzzers and things like that but providing the Hummer's CD changer can be mounted horizontally and is compatible with the changer harness in your Camaro you should be OK. Truck changers are made to be mounted in the vertical position only where the changer in an F-Body is meant to be mounted horizontally. The factory changers don't have adjustable suspensions for the CD transport mechanism like after-market changers do.
