Wheres the factory amp at?

i have the bose factory system an iam wondering wheres the factoy amp at in the 96 camaro?

i know in my friends 94 with bose there were amps attached to the speakers in the doors not sure about the rear speakers

how would i hook up a aftermarket amp to the subs while still using the stock head unit

I would not amp factory subs with an aftermarket amp.

instead of using the RCA's for the radio signal you will need to use the hight frequency input and splice into the wires going to the speakers, even then i dont know about putting an aftermarket amp on a stock sub i think the ohms will be off

aftermarket amp on after market sub they sell rca converters that spice in2 the speaker wires so i was wondering if its ok 2 spice in2 the speaker wires that come from the stock amp?

im sure those would be fine i have used one of those rca converters before but on an altima but i cant remember dont you have to splice into 4 wires total. Maybe for like the right and left? cant remember its been a while. but if you only need positive and negative the ones leading into the amp would be fine.
