Well, for the life of me a friend and I cant find a single spot to run directly from the engine compartment, into the passenger side, so I can run the power for my amp down and back.

The RCAs are on the left, that was easy. But the power wire, we had to sorta ghetto, becuase we cant find a single spot to put it!

The 4Ga power is running under the car, then up a hole, and up the hole under the passenger carpet. I dont like the wire being 'exposted' under the car, and I know that over time it'll start to hang down and I'll have to tie it back up, etc.

Where in the world can I put this power wire so it goes straight in!? Any pictures?


And just for fun, it's a Pioneer Premier DEH-P840MP, an Infinity Perfect 10 inside an MTX Thunderform stealthbox, with a DEI 1200.1 Viper Amplifier.

Are you serious?!?!? Like underneath with all the bugs and rain and stuff?!?!? All you have to do is look under your computer (big silver thing bout the size of a toaster) under your passenger's side cowl (hood) and there will be a rubber grommet where exsisting wires are. Run your wire through there. Then you can get a 48 size (I think) torx bit and remove the seat belt bolt to run the wire under the carpet so it won't get mooshed.

 

Go here and read every thread. There's all kinds of useful F-body specific info regarding installing your stereo system there.
