Where is a good place to put my amp?

Got a 4 channel Alpine amp, not real big. Where is a good place to put it. Is there enough room under the front seats. Where have some of you mounted yours.

Thanks

I've seen installs in the spare tire area, I'm gonna try there when I get my amp.

I've had one mounted under the PS seat... it was not cool...

I'm actually mounting both of mine on the back deck. I've seen them placed in the Spare-tire well before with good luck, or on the back wall of the pit with no problems.

I would suggest to mount that in the trunk, or the back seat if you are willing to give that up. But I would put it in the trunk.

very nice install there. I like how you put the eq under the HU. I did notice that you had a premade box for your amp rack. That would be a good idea also, but just don't plan on screwing that down.

How did you connect the fans exactly? I connected 2 fans with a relay, but they have alot of noisy interference.

Skull Leader: I run all six fans off the same relay that turns the amps on, the only noise problem I have is from all the air moving. Try running them off a seperate relay.

PaulN64: I built the amp rack myself. I build it out of 3/4" MDF and with the equipment in it it weighs plenty. The only movement I have is about 1/2 inch front to rear caused when I accelerate heavily.

It's really not that bad!

Mine's in the trunk. It was an easy install and doesn't interfere with storage. I have pics in my sig.
