for me at least, those single DINs never look right there. Now if you put the unit on the bottom of the space, and filled the top with a switch panel or something, then it would make sense.

 

I use an Alpine 1.5 Din. Looks GREAT in there.. I really didn't like the looks of the 1din either. I forget the model number, but I looked on alpines website adn its not listed anymore. I dunno why it would be though its over 4 years old

 

Well now that I know the model numbers I might just get one off ebay.

well i bought my amp and subs off ebay...they're sort of similar. Just make sure if you can that it's an online company, at least someone with a huge rating.

 

AFAIK, Alpine no longer makes the 1.5 din.
