What to replace rear seat panel speakers with?

Basically this is what ive got, the stock system in my transam, ten speaker, non monsoon. My CD player is all messed up and the lights dont work, and the volume **** is all messed up as well. The passenger side woofer by the rear seat is blown. What can i replace those two speakers with without adding amps, rewiring **** and so on. Just a simple replacement. I was checking out crutchfield and saw nothing other than two way speakers and component systems. Is there not a replacement woofer for them?! Of anyone got the stock speakers that will work.

replace with factory. They rear woofers are dvc so if you try to use anything else they will be underpowered and only play midbass anyway. I would just find a factory replacement from GM. Don't buy aftermarket untill you descide to replace the whole system.

Go on ebay they sell replacements on there. Just do a search there and you will find them for like 50 bucks

Re: What to replace rear seat panel speakers with?

JL makes a 6" sub....I replaced mine over the weekend. They were ~$80 each. Cant possibly be worse than a blown factory speaker.

My plan was to use these with the stock amp located below the passenger side sub. I ended up replacing my amp since the speaker inputs, power, ground, etc. were right there in the amp connector harness. I used am amp with speaker level connectors.

I dont think the subs in our cars (93-95, non monson) are DVC. But I could be wrong...ours are 3.2 OHM speakers...
