What happened here?
I had a samll custom system put in by my "regular" shop a few months ago. The head unit has a removable face plate. Last week I got in and all the stations were blank as though the battery had been unplugged but everything else in the car was still set. (trip odometer, etc) Today I got in and there is no power to the head unit. I assume both the amps and the crossover in the back have power going to them because the power lights are lit up. I checked 2 fuses in the fuse box and one on an amp. All are good. I know the best thing to do is take it to the shop but I can't get there until Sat. Is there anything I can do or check in the meantime? I've never experienced any problems (equipment or shop) other than blown speakers and fuses
Thanks for the time

Man. I raced the 23 miles one way and back to the shop on my break and the guy that always helps me out was just like...did you blow a fuse? I can't believe he didn't even try to look at it. I checked the fuses I could get to but I don't even have the tools to pull the head unit out to see if there is a fuse within. Maybe I got him on a bad day...How am I supposed ot fix it if they don't tell me what's wrong? Even if I have to replace it, I still need them to tell me that the problem is. WTH? Why would it just stop for no reason????
