What do I need to go from 3 speaker Bose to 5?
What do I need to go from 3 speaker Bose to 5?
I have a stock 94 Bose 3 speaker setup, and want to add the 2 rear speakers. Is the wiring going to be there? WHere do they get power from? Everywhere I see the rears, they don't have their own amp like the front, does it come from sub?
Thanks.
Thanks.
im with paul. the rears are ran through the sub i think. and the wires run back and forth threw the car alot so its real confusing. plus you cant even talk to someone at our local car audio place about bose system. they keep telling me to deal with it or replace it because so many people go through so many headaches and never fix their problems when they change their bose systems.
Well, thanks for the replies, but I didn't ask whether to replace my bose system or not. I am asking what I need to locate/install to use rear bose speakers, where they get wired from, etc, not whether or not to rip it all out and spend money on a new system.
They are connected and powered by the rear sub. I want to know the same thing, but nobody here seems to have the answer. If the 3 speaker sub could be replaced with the 5 speaker sub (connections the same?) and run two rear bose sail speakers that would be cool. If you find out let me know. I want to keep the original stuff, just add the 2 speakers.
