what is the best head unit under $130

This probably isn't what you want to hear. But if at all possible, wait longer and get something a little better. Either that or get the Protection Plan because you're gonna need it.

 

dont buy anything from bby or ccity, go on line adn buy it from ebay or something like that. any retailer will up charge almost 40% from what tehy get it at, so dont waste your money. there plenty of ebayers that have quality and a great $$ too. i bought some things from "electronicgiant" on ebay and was satisfied. but NEVER by from BBY, EVER, also they have lots of hack installers too.

 

I would like to do this, but I dont think I could install it, can you take it somewhere and get it installed?

Find a local stereo shop, I wouldn't recomend BB or CC for install anyways, not exactly the highest of quality, plus the free install doesn't include about $35 worth of equipment.

 

Talk about getting ripped...

Dude you're gonna pay markup and ridiculous labor anywhere you go if you have someone install it. Just bite the bullet and go to one of the stores everyone complains about. It's not like you're being a perfectionist and everyone seems to overlook that.

Go to BB, CC or the like, fiddle with the units on display and choose the one you like best. That's the best you can do with $130 and if it's just a radio there ain't much to screw up so chances are it'll be a good install.

 

I take offense to that Fuji, my installs are perfectly fine . But either way, he's right. Best Buy marks up the crap out of all the car audio stuff. Business is business, so thats why I say go elsewhere as well. Just make sure you have someone that can install it too (ridiculously easy).



P.S. Definitely DO NOT got to Circuit City. I've seen and heard first hand from installers over there what they do and how they do things. Very unprofessional and you're worse off going to a local stereo shop.

 

You know, not EVERY BB installer is bad. There are some good installers working in those places, just gotta find them.

 

do all pioneers use the same wiring harness because i have a pioneer and i dont want to rewire the wiring harness can i just plug the old wiring harness into a new pioneer cd player???

 

No, there are at least two different harnesses.

Yes they in fact do. You shouldnt have to rewire the harness for the new radio. Only the Pioneer Premier line uses a different harness. Plug it right up.

 

Well the way they talk Best Buy hires idiot kids with no experience. I mean, it does happen, but not everywhere!
