don't go q-logic, they are very crappy boxes. Talk to megabass, he is the best builder for our cars. Plus with him you will save about 150-200 bucks, b/c i think that 1-logic box is around 400 bucks.

Here's another place to buy the JBL BP600.1:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=1947847407
Scala1 is a VERY VERY realiable person to deal with. Just look at that feedback rating!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't mean to be a d!ck, but have your already bought the kenwoods? I would really consider getting a component set. I know. I know. Too expensive, too much hastle right? Well, those were $109/pair right? There are components out there for about $120-$130/set
Kicker
http://www.cbrstereo.com/Merchant2/m...de=KICKERCOMPS
MB Quart
http://www.cbrstereo.com/Merchant2/m...gory_Code=MQCS
MTX
http://www.cbrstereo.com/Merchant2/m..._Code=MTXCOMPS

and I'm sure there are others. I'm just saying if you are already planning on spending $110 for speakers... mise well get your moneys worth. Put a set up front and a simple mid range speaker by the backseats. And as far as an amp goes..... if you are getting the JBL BP600.1 then I'd get a matching amp from JBL. But that's just me. I like having my amps match. The subs don't have to match the amps and those don't have to match the speakers, but all the amps have to match. hehehehehe Like I said, that's just me. Try the JBL P80.4

Actually, a better choice might be the JBL P80.2.

It's cheaper and it will give you more power. You'll have to wire your component set together (front right and left) and your backseat speakers together. This will give you a 2 ohm load. Wire the components to one channel and the rear speakers to the other!!! The only problem would be that you would not be able to fade left to right (because they are wired together) but do you really do that anyway??? Mostly front to back. Small price to pay for double the power! And cheaper....!!

Firebirdude is right about kenwoods vs. components. Try to squeeze a nice pair of comps into your budget. Even if you have to go with a used set. I have some kenwood coax in the doors now and they are so limited. I bought a used set of focal polykevlars for 200 used. Can't wait to get them in.

As for the passenger box, you'll need to either trim your panel down or find a salvage panel and trim that one down and save your stock one. Too much work for me to provide them. And yes I can get 12s in the passenger box, but not the driver's side. Dual 10s will be surprisingly loud.

Well I would not get the Kenwooods for the front seats but for the back seats I would get the Kenwoods. The back seats really do not need much of a sound stage because they are so far away from you and you do not sit by them. Or better yet just don't get any back speakers at all. I know several people that run no back seat speakers and their system sounds great.

The rear speakers in our cars are much closer then most others. Especially if you lean your seat back at all. But I still agree, in some cars, no rear speakers is the better choice. In an F-body, I have found I personally like a set of mid range speakers. Not co-axil or tri-axil. Just a simple mid-range.

NOOO!!! hehehehehehehe

#1 The JBL BP150.1 should not be used to power your door speakers!! It is a 1-channel amp. Meant for subwoofer use only. You need a multi-channel amp. Either of the two I sugguested will work fine.

#2 You'll want to put the components up front!!

#3 This is probably a matter of opinion but,...... I would seriously think twice about the 3-ways (JBL) for the rear. You are looking for a basic mid-range. Not co-axil or tri-axil. (Sometimes called 2-way or 3-way) You'll want to keep those very high frequencies up front. The tweeter on the co and tri-axils will destroy your soundstage. But like I said.... to each his own.

It will work fine. Puts out a lot of power and that seems to be a pretty good price. But it won't match your subwoofer amp. Which means absolutly nothing... but like I said.... I'm a **** when it comes to that!

firebirdude i was gonna use the kicker speakers that come in the component set in the backseats and the JBL 3-ways up front (along with the tweeters that come w/ the kicker set). is that a bad combo? as for that rockford fosgate amp, i would rather have amps that match too so is there a JBL amp that will suit my need?

You have the right idea. Keeping the highs up front. Great move! BUT, that's not gonna work with a component set. Treat the set (woofer, tweet and crossover) as ONE speaker! Components up front and (if you must have the kenwoods) kenwoods in the rear. Trying to keep those tweeters from behind your head.
I recommend the Kicker RMB6 ($99) in place of the kenwoods.

And it would match your components!

And a JBL amp to match your other??? Did you read my previous post???

Try the JBL P80.4
