I agree, better to spend a little more in the begining to get something better in the end. I'd rather spend $400 on a 1500 watt MTX amp or spend $300 or so on a JBL 1200.1 amp than a $200 1800 max power watt amp from Sony or Kenwood.

I have one 15W3 myself, haven't hooked it up yet. Bought that from the same friend that sold me the 6500D MTX amp. He keeps giving me deals that are too good to pass up! :-)

Well, we (my brother and I) have two 12" subs we will be custom mounting in our other car soon here so that will happen first.

Secondly, getting a 15 in the back of a fbody isn't as easy as a 10 or a 12.
