Re: wanted to know

I'm running pretty close...

1600Wrms on the subs, and ~400Wrms for the surrounds...

y?

I'm upgrading to 3.5kW next spring when I put the new subs/amps in.

Re: wanted to know

I actually already have them... they're sitting in their shipping crates.

www.adireaudio.com

They're rated for 1600Wrms thermal limit, but their power handling really depends on what enclosure you have them in. I'm running them in sealed boxes and going to be feeding each one ~1.5kWrms; a dedicated Hifonics BX1500D for each subwoofer. If you run them in a ported box, they only need like 1/2 that power for them to reach x-max.

If you're in the market for some serious subwoofers that not only pound but also sound amazing check out them, Elemental Designs, or Resonant Engineering.

They all sell directly from the manufacturers, and search on google for the other 2 Mfgs. websites.

Re: wanted to know

These are some of the best speakers on the market, if you have the $$ and the know-how to do a quality install then go for it. These WILL POUND...

check out www.caraudioforum.com for more car stereo information; on these any just about anything else you'd be interested in.
