Post Want to replace my monsoon subs, please help.

My monsoon subs keep blowing by the rear seats. I always have my bass turned down because I'm afraid they will blow and of course they do. I want to buy aftermarket speakers to replace them with but I can't find any subs that will fit that are 2 ohms. I don't want to rewire the car or get a new amp or anything like that, I just want to get new speakers. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks for the help in advance.

Image Dynamics and a few other manufacturers make 2ohm 6-1/2" drivers. They'll probably cost more than you'll want to pay for them though. There isn't much sense in driving these speakers with a cheap *** POS Monsoon amp anyhow. With the amount of distortion put out by the POS Monsoon amp you'll probably end up blowing these as well.
