Boxing week sales coming and I want to upgrade the Monsoon in my 02 hawk. First I want a subwoofer in the rear driver's side corner. Subthump makes a rear enclosure for $112.00, looks good but is it as good sounding as a fiberglass custom rear enclosure? The fiberglass one cost almost triple the price as this subthump enclosure. Which one? I want a great sub so I was thinking of the JL Audio one, not sure but I think the W7. Which JL 10 inch sub would be best in my f-body? How about a mono amp to power it? JL or Alpine V12 or any othe suggestions? I'd like to replace all the speakers too and maybe the head unit. All you car stereo experts please post in what you think is best. I don't mind spending more cash on something that is better but I'd like bang for the buck and I like good solid, hard hitting deep bass.

 

I also have brand new in the box a 4-channel Phoenix- Gold amp and 3-way Soundstream 2 ohm 6 by 9 speakers. These are top of the line products, the speakers wont fit in my firehawk and I guess I can't use this amp unless I change the whole system. I bought this stuff new last year before I bought my new 02 firehawk, that's why it's sitting in the closet. I'd sell or trade it but I live in Vancouver. I can commute as far as Seattle for a deal. Let me know if I can use this amp on the Monsoon? I know I need a mono amp for the sub so I would trade for a similar high-quality one.
