under driver side dash wiring question
car is a 1994 Camaro Z28. i am new to 4th gens and this website, i hope this is the right section for this question. anyhow. i pulled my factory radio out and the knee boulster on the drivers side. it appears as if the previous owner has hacked the wiring up pretty bad. underneath the steering column there appears to be two plugs that went to something under the steering column area and also looks like they spliced in a relay for a keyless entry or alarm or something. i am just wondering if anyone knows what these could be for? i am pretty sure they are factory plugs, i should also ad that i have the Bose stereo system could these plugs be for the factory amp? i have pictures but cant figure out how to post them here, i will email them if this will help

Re: under driver side dash wiring question
You could open an account on yahoo.com .
Then you can post them in you picture account that it gives you.
They just have to be jpeg's not bmp's.
Then just put a link in your post.
Here is the link to get the account.

Re: under driver side dash wiring question
well I can say for sure it's not for the factory alarm.
The factory alarm is in the pasanger side kick panel.
You can look and see if they plug into anything but be carefull about it.
You can try to do a serch about the Bose stereo system
here and also on google.
See if you can find out something about the plugs.
Also we have this GREAT guy on this web sight that has a page on how
to's and information on camaro's.
Here is his web page.
