Kind of a dumb question and I figured this out awhile back but when I turn on my right blinker the lights just stay on...I can't recall if that means the bulb needs changing or the fuse...any idea?

 

It's probably the bulb. If a fuse or a relay goes you'll lose both signals.

yea thats definitely a bulb issue.

 

Try replacing the Flasher located under the dash. These go first.

 

That's definately a bulb issue; check the front or the back of the car.

 

If the left side flashes and the right doesn't the flasher is fine. You've probably got a burnt out bulb somewhere.

 

Hey Castro,

Mine is doing the same thing! I just switched to the clear corners and now the passenger side signal doesn't blink. The left side does so I've ruled out the flasher on that however these are brand new bulbs as I didn't recieve the correct ones with the clear lens and would think I would have no problem.
Oh and I've also checked the bulbs in the back and they all just light up brighter with no blinking. The same goes for the one in the lense itself.
Maybe I just check the connection and replace bulb again.

Have you fixed yours? Surely by now you have.....

 

well i have the same problem, and i couldnt figure out the problem and took it to GM and they pretty much said everything i had known for a while, the flasher is fine, the bulb is fine, the socket is fine, Iam having a wiring issue somewhere, so in 2 weeks I'm gonna take it to GM againand get the wiring short fixed..

 

u need blinker fluid...

 

i wish every problem could be fileld up with premium

 

Im having a problem with the blinkers sporadically not working. About half the time it works fine, but the other half, it wont work. 90% of the time its the left blinker too, which pisses me off more. Bulbs arent burnt out anywhere, so im pretty confused on this.

Your problem sounds like a bad flasher unit or one that is on it's way out.
Mine's either the bulb itself or the connector being gunkified from the elements.

I'll end up taking a look into it sometime this week seeing as I'm getting off work early the next couple of weeks.
