Approve this setup

Even though I no longer own an fbody, you guys, quite simply, kick ***. So I'm seeking advice yet again. I had two 10" Kicker CVRs (Link) and Elemental Designs components (Link) in the front. I LOVED it. Good clear sound.

Now I'd get another setup like this, but the delema is that I now own a '97 Jeep Wrangler. There is extremely limited space to work with in the "so called" trunk area, as well as water and theft being a big problem.

I have my Pioneer DEH-P960MP (Link) from my Camaro, which I already have in there. I want to steer away from components for various reasons. Here's what I've decided to go with, and feel free to jump in if anything is crap.

4x Polk Momo's (Link). Two will go in the front, which are basically where your left knee would be (right knee for passanger) and two would go in the soundbar, above and slightly behind the drivers and passangers heads.

Kicker 10" L7 (Link) 1 Kicker L7, 1 because its square shape would make it a tad easier to work with in the limited room in the back area, and two because its the bigger brother of the subs I used to have. Unless I'm wrong, it would sound about the same as the 2 CVRs, since they were 300RMS each, and one L7 is 600RMS.

I don't know which amp to go with for the kicker. I'm eyeing this amp for the speakers, mainly because of its small size.

Now for the wiring. I had a wiring kit from Knukoncepts.com in my Camaro and I was really happy. Tell me if this is over-kill. I'd go with this 1gauge (I believe) for running from the battery to a distro block (link), then split the two 4gauge power wires to the two amps.

Also, I might as well ask this while I'm here. This is kind of my first wiring experience, so correct me if I'm wrong. My head unit has 3 RCA cable sets. One says "Highs/Front", one says "Mids/Back", and the 3rd says "Low/Subs". If I get a 4 channel amp for the door speakers, wouldn't I be able to wire it up in such a way, I could plug all 3 sets of RCAs into it? (So basically the head unit controls exactly what it thinks it is. The HU has amazing customization and controls, I'd like to ultilize it). Sorry this was so long, thanks in advance guys.

Re: Approve this setup

i've never heard polk speakers but as long as they aren't the cheapest they should be good. i had an alpine amp for my subs and dont recommend it for anything cause it was crap. kept on overheating. i'd look for another 4-channel amp. you said that one kicker L7 would be equal to 2 kicker cvr cause its pushing twice as much rms watts, well thats not true. you have much more surface area with the 2 cvrs than one L7 will. so you wont be pushing as much air, but since it's double the amount of watts, it'll be louder. what amp are you got to use to power that sub? L7's are really loud and you have a small truck so its gonna be really loud, thats all i have to say man.

I'm not sure what amp yet, I need help deciding on that one. That overheating amp is a big thing, I'm going to need both amps to run fairly cool because they'll either be mounted under the seat (which fits almost flush with the floor) or inbetween the seat and sub enclosure. I would like to get two CVRs again, but space is too much of a factor to put 2 10"s in there.
