Turn Signal Problem and Taillight Help.
Turn Signal Problem and Taillight Help.
I tried to use my turn signal today and its not working right. If i turn it either way the green arrow comes on and stays on. It doesn't blink. The front turn signals don't blink either. But the strange part is the back ones do...? Anyone know whats going on? I thought maybe a burnt out bulb but would it causes both fronts to not work right? I might take this as i sign to get some clear corners...
Also I just put a set of 93-96 tails on my car and there are 2 small bulbs in the harnesses. What are they for...? I can't get them to light up, i don't think i need to anyway but i am still curious.
Thanks Guys!!

Well to address your first problem, the fact that your signals arrow just stays on means one of two things. The first possibility is that you have a burnt out bulb, and since both sides do the same thing, it is probable that you have a burnt out bulb on both sides. The second possibility is that your turn signal capacitor (can as they call it) is burnt out. This unit is easily replaced and is located right under your dash. It is in a cluster along with two rectangular things, easy to find, easy to replace, cheap. If it is not one of these causing your problem, it is something much more envolved. For your second question, those smaller bulbs that are located in the sides of your tail lights are parking lights, they are not needed, as they do not indicate stoppage or turning.
Good luck!
