Question Are there any power sources that...

I'm going to be installing a power antenna sometime in the near future and was wondering if there are any power sources that only have power when the FM/AM radio is on...something that has no power if the CD player is in use? That way, when I put a CD in and the FM/AM radio goes off, the antenna will go down.

If not, I guess my only other option would be to install a switch somewhere.

Thanks

Thumbs up

Yeah, I do have a stock CD player, but I would think the wiring should still be similar.

Anyway, shoot me an e-mail or reply here and let me know where you connected your power for the antenna, I'd really appreciate it. Everything else looks like it should be pretty easy, except I still have to figure out how to connect the antenna wire that came with the antenna and the stock antenna wire together...they both have the same connector on the end so I can't just plug them together...can that wire be spliced together?

And does your antenna go down when you listen to a CD and then back up when you listen to the radio? That's really what I want mine to do.

Thanks!!

Brian
