T-Top Box Installed!!

Check it out HERE . The T-Tops don't rattle or slide around. The subs hit nice But I am in the market for a bigger amp in the future. I am starting to notice the definition as far as the bass responce.

I will be adding Soundstream Tarantula series Components and mid-bass speakers in the somewhat near future.

Nice...
Yeah, more power will work wonders. On your car domain page, you might mention where the awesome box came from .

Definately a nice look, still considering picking one up myself. Did you have to remove the stock bracing that held the tops or keep them in? Also how heavy would you rate the box at, is it light enough to be lifted for storage on a long trip or are you basically giving up the storage space?

p.s. Are we able to do a group purchase on this? If not let me know via PM how much you need for a box, I love it

Re: T-Top Box Installed!!

Yes I had to remove the T-Top braces. You get about that much room when removed. The box is light enough to be lifted when needed, but don't count on having ample storage room. Once you add the subs, of course the box can get heavy. When it's empty, it cam be lifted easily w/ one hand. I found the easiest way to remove the box is by sticking a hand down in the t-top slot and pulling on the bottom of the box.

The box is great. When I got it the color was a little dull, but once I coated it w/ Black Magic (Yes, the tire stuff). It worked great. The only complaint I have is the foam stripping that is used to cushon the tops, comes off easy when it's hot out. But all in all, it's definetly worth the money!

Some will be able to tell where I got the box, but for the most part I want to keep it quiet. I like to have a unique box, I don't like having something EVERYONE else has. Unless it's performance parts, ones that have a good name and reputation...

Eh, true. But still. I just tell PPL I had it custom made. Which I did. It took about a month.
